  1. Fallow for dinner or a roast lunch – get the cod’s head, Chelsea tart and mushroom pate (not in that order pls)
  2. Hongdae pocha for a group – get the soy garlic chicken (lots)
  3. Pockets for lunch – best falafel pitas ever
  4. Bun House for steamed bao buns on the go in Chinatown – the pork ones are far superior
  5. Shankeys for romantic setting and Indian-Irish fusion menu
  6. Legare for a special occasion
  7. Maison Francois for brunch with vibes and gorgeous interior, or an evening meal with a hidden bar underground
  8. Juliet’s Tooting for best brunch in London
  9. Yeye’s for good value noodle soups and dumplings by Liverpool Street
  10. Casa do Frango for groups (any location – get the African rice and sides too)
  11. Noble Rot for lovely wines and food, maybe one to bring the parents to or for classy date
  12. Bar D4100 for excellent vibes and cheap pizza and cocktails in South East
  13. Fatt Punditt for crazily flavoursome dishes
  14. Donia for Filipino food
  15. Crisp pizza for London’s best pizza
  16. Singburi for the best Thai food
  17. Xi’an impression for byo and great food
  18. Deli boutique for best pastries in South London
  19. Soif for insane rotisserie chicken with gravy and chips in Clapham
